this is one of the books that i was planning on making the other day, until my plans were changed {the details are in yesterday's post...and just as a side note, my little trip to michael's for "one item" turned out to be costlier than i had intended. i always get into so much trouble in there! }. i've had such good response to my "book of life" that i thought i'd continue on with the theme. i have a few more ideas in mind...
Hey Lori,
ReplyDeleteThanks for you comment on my blog! oxox
Now, as the the ME book---fabulous, wonderful, very very cool and just plain GRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!!
Oh Lori, I'm that way at Hobby Lobby. Those places are like a candy store but with fewer calories. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love the ME book. Do they open to lay flat? Just wondered.
hi tess...sorry, i think i was so focused on all of the money i spent at michaels, i really didn't give any details about the book! this book has a coptic binding, which enables it to lay completely flat when opened.
ReplyDeletealso, the cover is a very pretty red-orange color...i've discovered that it's a difficult color to photograph! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Lori! I've got some similar projects in the works using grungeboard letters on the covers. Did you cut your own letters?
ReplyDeletehi laura...ooh, i can't wait to see your grungeboard books! i've been using ready-made chipboard, but i may have to go with something else to avoid any more frantic trips to michaels! :)
