i've been itching to get back to my stamp carving. i'm SO loving it, and kind of wondering how much longer before i go from addiction on into obsession! today i wrote out the word "wish" and started carving away...i'm still very much the beginner, but having oh, so much fun!!
This stamp rocks! You are a natural!!!
ReplyDeleteI have the itch too but haven't had the time to satisfy it yet! Your wish is gorgeous--you've done a beautiful job with the thicks and thins of the lettering! I can see a new series of cards or journals happening for you....
ReplyDeleteIts looking good. I love the galatic kind of feel where the ink hasnt pressed onto the paper in the middle. Like a whole starry solar system whirling around behind the text.
ReplyDeleteThat looks really good! I stink at it...I have tried and I really stink. Give me a Xacto blade and scissors and I can make things happen but not carving.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful control you have with the tools! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe sky's the limit with your beautiful lettering and new carving skills! Thanks for your comment Lori!
ReplyDeleteLori! You amaze me!
ReplyDeleteYou know, when the stamp carving become that Obsession, that is the PERFECT time to sell them! That way, you make them (satisying that obsession), you sell them and make more money to then make them, and continue the obsession. It's a Win Win!
