I love it Lori! I am amazed at the sheer quality of your work. May I just tell you and appreciate that? If you could make another "bird cover" book/journal--like the one I see on your blog side column in your flickr set (with lots of polka dots in the signature pages possibly), I'd love to buy one from you! I went to your etsy and couldn't find it.
let me know if you do commissions like this... hugz ~gina
Lori, you are amazing. My advanced art students are doing a book project right now, but I've never done book binding before, so I can't really help them much. I got these great books by Esther M. Smith about making all types of books, but I've always wanted to try this coptic method. I really admire your flawless design and meticulous neatness that I keep seeing consistently through all your pieces. Your comments on my blog are so generous; it's so nice that we all have different skills and we can appreciate such great differences.
What a wonderful journal, Lori! It's beautiful. They are worth so much more than $24. I would say at least $40 and that is still no where near it's worth.
Great journal and all those incredible adjectives.... BLISS!!!
