do you have lots of fun little nooks and crannies in your creative space where you store some of your most wonderful things? one of mine is this wood "trough" that i found at hobby lobby in the sale bin. i just love its distressed look, and it's perfect for holding all of those fat quarters that i just can't seem to resist collecting. i must admit, though, that not just any fabric can be included in this elite group.....it has to be one of my absolute favorites....something that really inspires me. and while i exposed my square-grid-love the other day, this little fabric stash tells a different story....one of polka dots....and lots of yellow and orange happiness! don't you just love how something so simple can reveal so much inspiration?!
I love this - how cute the fabric looks in the little trough!

OUUUU--yummy!! I like this way of storing the fat quarters. I am finding that my fat quarters get mashed down into my stash and hide from me. That's not good!

ReplyDeleteI love it! It is indeed inspirational.

ReplyDeleteHi Lori, You have only missed one Project Runway episode, it started last week. Watch and we can compare notes. :) -Alisa

What an inspiring image! I see one that's in my stash too! Gotta love orange. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely display! Containers and organization is the key. Something I am lacking in my little house. Love the trough! It's having the vision to see these when you're out and about.

A versatile post, this is serving as my inspiration tuesday! I love the colors and patterns all sandwiched together.
ReplyDeletePretty nooks and crannies are the best! I think I might dust off my own nooks today and see what treasures I've hidden around the bindery :)
I love my craft room, but since we are going to be looking for another house soon, I am definitely looking to make the next one an amazing space...and "nooks and crannies" like this are just perfect! Love to see your creativity :)
ReplyDeleteI do love it and I have a total crush on the colour orange.
ReplyDeleteI hope the panic attacks are a thing of the past.
Love Renee xoxo
oh lori...please don't even get me started on my fabric addiction. :-) and now i'll start collecting fat quarters too since they are perfect for making those balls my aunt taught me to make!
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this - another post with happy colors! What a great idea!!!
ReplyDeleteI have my fabrics piled high in a fabric basket. It sounded like a good idea at the time, but now I can't find what I'm looking for. I need to go to Hobby Lobby! I love your creative displays and photos, Lori! ~K
