doin' the 'do

i'm feelin' good from my head to my shoes, know where i'm goin' and i know what to do, i've tidied up my point of view, i've got a new attitude....

what is it about going to the hairdresser that puts a song in my heart and a skip in my step.......a little snip here and some color there, and suddenly i'm a new person!
and then there's the practical side of it.....at this point in my life, i look at a haircut as a form of weight loss (lame, i know.....but there's huge psychological potential there!). whatever it is, by the time i'm done, not only do i have a new 'do to show off, but i feel so good that i can almost hear patty labelle singing in the background (now there's a hairdo!!).....

have a great weekend!!

  3. I need to go in for a re-do soon. I used to wear my hair long, then two years ago, I cut it off. I've been trimming it myself with a little help from the hubby (the back) but I need to get a hairdresser to layer it nicely. And I could use a little color too to cover up them dang gray things!!! LOL!!!

  4. I'm likin' the whole "cutting the hair equals weight loss thing". I just whittled an apple cake. I know it was worth this three pounds, but now I NEED that haircut!

Lori, you were adorable before the new haircut, and I'm sure you're just as adorable now!!! Yep, good hair puts a little pep in my step too! Hugs, Paulette =D

  15. There is definitely something freeing about a new haircut. It's change. It's shedding old skin and getting ready for the new. I'm sure you look absolutely fabulous! :)

  17. I must admit I have not been to a hairdresser's in years. I should. I even cut all my children's hair, and the husband... my way of being creative :)
