on the front porch

our sweet little neighbor came over the other day to help us with some outside holiday bling. she was in charge of stringing the porch lights.....don't you just love the way the teenage mind works?!! it looks fabulous at night, and i think that santa will be quite impressed (and he will definitely be able to find us!!)!

  4. Perfect! All that's missing is the light-ringed plate of cookies for Santa when he takes his break on your porch. :)

  5. I love how the tiny lights glow softly against the chair's familiar silhouette. It's all so inviting.

  6. Hi Lori,
I love this.. that is so awesome!
I wanted to let you know I recieved my prize in the mail.. and OH those cards are so beautiful!
I just held them and kept smiling as a mother holds a baby.. (I'm sure)! You know what I mean though.
Then I saw your video last night.
I was too tired to post.. but I enjoyed it.
Thank you so much and what an honor to have won these beautiful cards!
tHANK YOU SO MUCH ONCE AGAIN!
    Hugs, Darlene xo

  7. I love the way all childrens' minds work! All of my 2nd graders had to create a robot invention (out of recyclable materials) to solve a problem...So far, I was presented with a giant robot that recycled things into teddy bears, and a dog robot created to keep a pet company during the night. I get all mushy inside. Your lights are beautiful--and I bet your teenage neighbor is, too. How sweet! ~K

  9. Hmmmmm. I've got a pretty naked-looking porch swing.

Unfortunately all of the Christmas lights in this town have been sold. The shelves are empty.

I'll have to do that next year.

  20. Girl...I love the lights on the chair. My hubby came home with a chair like that a couple of weeks ago, someone had put it in the dump!!! It just needs a touch of paint and it will look brand new again. Those chairs aren't cheap. May have to wrap some lights around mine too. LOL...
