pocket card

i call this the "pocket card". it has four pockets and it's made using one sheet of paper, with no gluing or taping....just folding! and, it's super easy to make! i made this how-to video that you can watch here, or over at you tube (i recommend you tube since it was filmed in wide format).

i didn't spend too much time decorating the card in the video, so here's a photo of the finished version. i hope you enjoy making these and filling the pockets with all kinds of goodies!!

  7. Awesome video Lori, Loved it! These are so cute and what a great way to make a really quick greeting card. I also love the idea of presenting gift cards this way. My daughter loves getting them. (She loves shopping period, LOL!) I'll definitely be making these. I'll have to settle with my metal ruler for scoring though.

  11. Update...I just made one. Cute. I used A4 size paper which is what the standard size is in the UK, and it makes a pocket 3 x 3 1/2 inches finished size.

  16. You are so clever! I love the needle-and-thread holder idea. In fact, why not make a little travel sewing kit? It would make a really cute gift, and it is so practical. Love it!
