inspiration monday


my little dutch sweetie recently treated me to a wonderful trip to savannah, georgia.



what a fabulous city! 




 we did lots of walking, lots of eating, and lots of shopping.....is that the perfect recipe for a magnificent weekend, or what?



if you haven't already visited savannah, i highly recommend it.   there's eye candy everywhere......



and it's filled to the brim with inspiration!

journal page created in savannah using supplies from my art-travel-kit:  micron pens, pencils, favorite watercolor pencils, niji waterbrush.  pan pastel added later at home.

    I completely agree about Savannah. Mr. C just took me last June and we truly enjoyed this Southern town of hospitality. I couldn't eat enough Pralines!!!

    Sounds like a wonderful place to visit. Love the bee stamp! Have you read Secret Life of Bees? I wanted to swim in honey and become a bee tender by the time I finished that book!

    SUCH a cute illustration... and I love that you did it while on a little trip... to one of my all time favorite cities in the US! Savannah was SUCH a surprise to me, I didn't expect to fall in love like I did... so glad you had a great time, thank you for sharing your trip!
