several years ago i challenged myself to create a little heart every day using watercolor pencils. each sketch was done on a scrap piece of watercolor paper, and then bound into an accordion spine journal structure. i didn't keep up with the challenge for very long, but it was a fun experiment and now i have a little collection of watercolor hearts to look back on!
here's a little sneak peek into my journal!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a heart a day, and you bound it into such a nice little book of art. It's an inspiring idea--to find an image to create each day, maybe as a kind of warm-up before other work. (As if I have that kind of time...it would be THE work, if I did it!)
ReplyDeleteLove it, Lori. What a cute little collection and how VERY inspiring indeed. :) Hmmm....maybe I should challange myself.... :D
