embroidered pillows

i took some time to do a little window shopping in my favorite PB catalogs, and when i spied these pillows, i immediately knew they would be the next entry in my pottery barn journal.  i've always had a real soft spot for satin-stitching and french knots......and i don't think a girl could ever have too many embroidered pillows!  they're the perfect thing to surround yourself with as you're lounging on the couch......with your feet up on the coffee table......while you're watching your favorite movie......and eating a chocolate bar.....or two...... :)))

i hope you have a relaxing surrounded-by-embroidered-pillows kind of weekend!!

  5. Lori, What a beautiful page! Pillows are just so comforting and when they are hand-stitched they are that much more precious. If I could only figure out how to have a pen/paintbrush in one hand, a needle and thread in the other - where will the chocolate fit in?!? Have a fabulous weekend! xoxo, Jeanette

  10. Today, I just saw some of my friends embroidered pillows on facebook and they were awesome! She doesn't sell them--but then, they are a work of art with ribbon embroidery, satin stiches, french knots, lace and buttons! I'm going to have to make me one!!!

  11. "sigh" how fabulous is this page. Maybe you should let the Pottery Barn have a look at your version of their catalogue. They might want you to illustrate the next one lol
    Forever amazed, Margaret xx
