always reveals the most magnificent masterpieces!
{these beautiful flowers live outside my front door,
and their gorgeous blooms only last for one day.
does anyone know the name of these garden jewels?}

ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! Mother Nature is such an artist!...I think it's an iris or some sort..maybe...??? Whatever it is, it's gorgeous! Have a happy day, Lori! xo
ReplyDeleteI also thought iris, it is the name of my neighbour's girl ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's an Iris. Growing up we had tons and tons of these. Gorgeous.

Hi, It's a Tigridia flower. We have a few in our garden in Scotland but it will be July before we see them I think.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors in this blossom. I see an Iris but don't know which variety. Mother Nature really does it beautifully. Blissful weekend dear...
ReplyDeleteMother Nature is definitely the master of ZenTangle, love that orchid, hugs
ReplyDeletehi Lori, love your work, that flower is a orchid, they have a very short flower life span, where a iris will last weeks
ReplyDeleteNot an orchid. Trigridia ia a relative of the Iris, native to Mexico.
ReplyDeleteVERY beautiful!
