little mountain house

i have become quite intrigued by this sweet little house nestled in the mountain trees.
and while i don't know who lives there,  i would imagine that one thing is for certain.....

that such a cute little house surrounded by such tremendous beauty
surely must be filled with lots and lots of love!

{created in my moleskine journal using koi watercolor, pitt pens,
a waterbrush, and a 5B graphite pencil}

  9. i bet if you framed that little painting and brought it to the owner, letting them know how much their little house inspired you, they would give you a tour!
    i was hoping you were going to say that is your new cabin in the wood!

  10. Awww, how sweet. Can you get closer to see a better view of the whole house? But then, maybe it might spoil the mystery.

  16. You have such an optimistic/positive attitude! Maybe watching the movie "wrong turn" has warped my views a little about the woods. tee hee. But it is an adorable house and after seeing your drawing I now imagine a totally different scene!

    Ok, here's some advice, if you get closer to the little house and you hear a banjo playing the theme from "Deliverance"-----RUN!
