and whether i get up close and personal....
or just stop to enjoy their golden splendor......
i can't think of anything more delightful, happy, and sunshiney
than the day my little dutch sweetie took me there.
and that's just the way i wanted to remember it in my journal!
{this biltmore memory was created in my moleskine journal using koi watercolor,
derwent inktense pencils, micron pens, 4B pencil}
Lori, And, you remember it well!!! I adore sunflowers, if they don't exude happiness and brightness and make you smile, what will???
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous page! Thanks for the smiles on the overcast Thursday here in the midwest!
Simply beautiful...thanks for allowing us to accompany you on your Biltmore visit!
XooX,

That must have been amazing! Sunflowers are so majestic and striking and you have captured that so beautifully with your art.
ReplyDeleteStunning! There is nothing like a nice field of sunflowers, but to be in lovely rows like this, even better! Sunflowers are the Kansas state flower. Now I want to go find a field of them and draw one too.

Sunflowers seem to be the quintessential Summer Smiles! I love to see them and their shy little heads hanging down. Lovely in your art journal with the little heart. Summer Sunflower Smiles Dear...
