but i quickly discovered there wasn't
nearly enough space to journal on the page,
because i have SO much to be grateful for…..
and that definitely includes YOU!
your sweet blog visits, comments, and e-mails continue to
touch my heart, and i truly appreciate each and
every one of you so, so much!
thank you, precious bloggy friends! xox

i'm a firm believer that "practice makes perfect",
so, i'm going to spend some time this summer practicing
what i love to do most…..lettering.
and since i'll also be doing some travel, i've decided to give my
"inspiration monday" series a bit of a break for a while,
but i'll be continuing on with the weekly DLP challenges.
see you next week with a new journal page!
happy weekend to you!
Your work is so beautiful. I also do the documented life challenge, but gracious my pages look like a kindegartner did them :) Like you say though practice is good and I'm doing that. thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI love how you've illustrated this sentiment. I love a life lived in gratitude. It's what makes it worthwhile, I think. Blessings,Carolynn
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favorite thing you have done so far. I thought it would be really hard to top the art supplies house but pretty sure you just did!! Wow.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, wonderful, perfect and definitely inspiring. What can I say other than you continue to be a blessing in my life for which I am very grateful
ReplyDeleteHugs, Margaret xx
Love your Gratitude page! My husband and I kept a gratitude Journal. We'd curl up each evening and record blessings of the day. I stopped using it when he died. I just bought a journal for one of Martha Lever's classes. Maybe I'll use part of it as my Blessings Journal. My pan pastels just arrived and I'm eager to try them out.~Joni PS My daughter decided she doesn't want a mural or any paintings on the wall. She's going with her Pottery Barn frame groupings which are in every room.

ReplyDeleteLove this page! Awesome as usual! Enjoy your wonderful summer! ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm just beginning to explore the art journaling world, and am so glad to have found your blog! As soon as I can free up enough time to devote to it, I'll be signing up for one of your classes. Love your work!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy!!! I love your work.
ReplyDeleteI also love lettering. Your page is truly inspirational. Thank You for sharing. I am grateful for the documented life challenge and facebook because without the both of these i may never have stumbled across your blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting.
Julie
I finally started a gratitude journal, just writing one thing each day in a regular diary, nothing as stunningly beautiful as this, which really is worthy of framing and hanging on the wall!
ReplyDeleteyour work is always so inspiring and perfect. I love your lettering.
ReplyDeleteI just love the things you do - you are such an inspiration for me!!
ReplyDeleteand also reminded me again to be grateful :)
