there's something about the artwork of patience brewster that's so feel good......in a whimsical, giggle sort of way. this card illustrating how to keep life in perfect and delicate balance is one of my favorites.....and oh, how i'd love to have a pair of those jammies!!
but the cherry-on-top for any art-paper afficionado is the fabulous artwork on the back of the card, too. it's like finding a secret feel-good surprise!
check out the wonderful world of patience brewster here!
she is wonderful!
ReplyDeletei haven.t been introduced to her whimsical art before, so thank you.
i love that she is doing a warrior yoga pose. how funny is that, and oh how often i feel EXACTLY like this sweet little p.j. clad lady...always trying to balance...
i tip a lot.

p.s. the stamp of yourself is sooooo cool.
I do so love her art work! I discovered her several years ago and have a few of her Christmas items...just too cut!
ReplyDeleteI too love the whimsical artwork of Patience Brewster. This card is so to the point for all of us juggling life. Thank you for sharing. Happy creating...
ReplyDeleteI love it! Life is so much about balance. Actually, I'm getting pretty good at it...:-D. Finding balance is a very good think...difficult, but doable and feels so good! I'm almost finished with a blanket that I've been crotcheting for the past few weeks. Feels good to do it again. Quite relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI like the way she uses the lightweight birds to illustrated the many things that we do balance in life, from jobs to family to hobbies, etc.
Very nicely done.
isn't that the truth!
ReplyDeletebalance is so tricky!
i think lately if i just
let myself "tip", as
chrissy puts it,
i'd tip into being
horizontal (preferably in
those scrumptious jammmies)
for a good long succulant while!

ReplyDeletei LOVE the back of cards when there are fun little 'details' back there! i always do a little somethin' somethin' on the backs of my cards or mini albums. in fact, my lovely daughter has even taken up the cause and does a cute drawing on the back of her homemade cards. why not slip in one more little piece of cuteness if you can?!!
