"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter... to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring -
these are some of the rewards of the simple life. "

I don't know if you realize just how much your art means to me, and probably many others, Lori. It's like I literally feel HAPPY when I look at your work! It's like the endorphins just kick in, the same kind that kick in when I enter Joann's or Michael's and hear the "angel's choir," in my head! ha!
ReplyDeleteI'm just now learning how to utilize micron pens, watercolors, tombow pens, etc., and am finally getting results I like, but it's taken forever. It helped to learn about Zentangles, (zentangles.com). A friend of mine told me about them and that's helped me get out of my "stage fright" at not being able to draw well or be naturally good at it.
But I have so enjoyed your art and I almost want to cry it makes me so happy. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it's true.
Take care,
Tricia
