i spy a tiny surprise....

i was on my bike the other day and spied this fabulous color combination.....
don't you just love this florida-sky-blue and palm-tree-green duo?

and as i looked down the tree, i also saw lots of yummy browns.....

and grays.....and some tiny windows..... and a tiny door?!

so, from now on, not only will i continue to look for wonderful
color combinations, but i'll also try to spy who's using this tiny little door....
(wouldn't it be fantastic if it's the tiny keebler elves,
baking batches of yummy cookies in their tiny keebler oven?!!)

i hope your weekend is filled with
 tiny colorful surprises!  :))

Those little doors are wonderful; so magical. It's fun to imagine what's behind them. We've had snow in England too - have missed riding my bike. Enjoy your weekend Lori x

Hi Lori!!!!
It's been A WHILE since I stopped in to visit your blog. My poor blog has been unchanged for quite some time now. :(
I am loving this color combo - i will be seeing it in 25 days! We are heading down your way from freezing cold PA to the warm, sunny Orlando area. Can't wait!
I love the little door on that tree. (Kind of makes you wish you could get reeeeeealy small and go in for a visit!)

I hope those adorable Keebler Elves don't need any chocolate chips...I ate them all! Now this is enjoying your bicycle ride and taking it all in. Love the blue sky. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...

gosh - I had to delete my post! I misspelled too many words.
So, I mentioned in my deleted post that I'm certain you found the Keebler House. And wondered if you knocked on the door? and when the door opened, yummy baking smells slipped out the behind the bakers?

Awesome find with the wee little doors. True confessions - we have some in our backyard on our Redwood tree. When I saw them in a catalog they seemed like a natural thing for our backyard because my Mother-in-law had given the families of each of her kids - Gnomes over the years for Christmas. So fun to see the ones you found!

That is awesome! When I ride my bike which has been a long time, I'm too busy trying not to crash into anything and complaining of how much my thighs burn :)

I love that little door! There is a section of trees in my backyard, and under them we've built a pavilion. I think some of the trees around the pavilion might just need some cute little doors!
