swirly girly

pollyanna's garden continues to grow....here is flower number six in the series.  with all of this horrible weather from tropical storm fay over the past couple of days, it was wonderful to be able to hide in my studio for a while and paint something happy and colorful.  i can still hear the wind howling outside, and the rain continues to beat on the windows, but this swirly girly reminds me that better days are ahead.

Your work is beautiful....a little tip though from one artist to another....don't sell it too cheaply. If you sell prints and things for not much, that's the value people will put on your work (not much) and your work deserves so much more than that. To gain respect, don't sell prints for less than $20, and original artworks deserve their price too. Well done sweetie, be inspired and encouraged to keep on keeping on.
Have a wonderful weekend. God bless, Julie.
