inspiration calls us to be brave.
it calls us to go on and do the next thing.
even if just the thought of it seems a little scary.
and sometimes inspiration gets weary of seeing us hang out in the shallow end of the pool all the time, and it offers to be one of those inner-tube-thingies around your waist, whilst whispering in your ear.....
to trot on down to the deep end, close your eyes, hold your breath,
and just jump in.
the main thing is don't think about it.....
just keep taking deep breaths, stay in the water so long that your fingers and toes get pruney,
and keep doing what you do best!
{happy labor day to all of my american friends!}

Just what I needed to hear on this beautiful Monday morning....such good advice now for me to take it and believe it......
Blessings to you sweet girl.....
This is so well said, and just what I needed to hear today! Have a great day Lori :D :D
Very inspirational!
However, you're going to have to talk me into just getting into my swimsuit. I've got a long way to go before even approaching the pool.
well said :) hope you've had a very inspirational and creative day!
Very true and motivating words :-) And as I'm still on summer vacation I'm feeling like an happy labor day
i remember when my siblings and i were learning to swim. the day came when it was time for the diving board. the plan was to jump in to the deep end and swim to the instructor. my brother did not want to jump. the instructor walked up behind him and pushed him in. maybe a little too much, but sometimes we need people around us to help us (push us :-)) jump in or go to the deep end of the pool. thanks for your wonderful inspiration.
so cute and motivating, lori! i prefer to swim in the lake, though. i can't see my large white thighs when i'm swimming in the darker water. hee hee
