buttons, part two

i'm still on a mission to use my growing stockpile of buttons.   and so i could put all of this into perspective for myself, i came up with this comparison:  if i were to put the contents of my button jar on a weight loss program, with a goal of losing, say, 10 pounds, then "losing" these four buttons from my jar and using them on this journal would represent about a 5 ounce loss.  as you can see, i have a long way to go!

I had to laugh - I have so many buttons too - most of them given to me but they are so much fun! I made a button necklace and posted it on my Sept. 27, 2008 blog.

Giggle, that's funny. If I put my buttons on a weight loss program, I think we are talking at least a decade for a significant reduction. I really like your books and the buttons on them.

Lori, I love the fabric on this one! Wait, I think I have that fabric too! Maybe I should start making journals since my fabrics don't get used for quilts lately, lol.

The journal is beautiful! Love the use of the buttons! I'm sure my husband would like to put my entire studio on a weight loss program! LOL

buttons are so unobtrusive, unlike fabric and paper-there's *always* room for another button. there are worse things you could collect...(i'm not really good at discouraging button hoarding am i?)
