restful realities

resting is a good thing......a very good thing. it gives you permission to put on your favorite pink mary jane slippers and put your feet up.....

and watch some of your favorite movies.....

and eat too many of these.....

which prompts you to take a quick spin on this.

the only downside to resting is eventually you have to get reacquainted with reality.....
and that mess that's been waiting in the studio.....yikes!

(i hope you had a great week....it's good to be back!)

Omgosh Lori, I just finished watching Under the Tuscan Sun, Chocolate, then Love Actually. I kid you not!
Rather than m&m's, I OD'd on licorice..
My comfy slippers are currently being used as a chew toy for my ratties...
My studio mess is ready to swallow me alive too (ha). And yet it is soooo good to see you in blogland, hopefully well rested.

Welcome back sweetie!

It looks like you spent your down time well - movies, chocolate, bike riding...exactly the things that I like too. And not to worry about the studio mess, just push a few things over for now so you can dive right back in (sometimes several inches of clear space can be enough.)

Yaaay, Lori!
You're back!

You were so wise to listen to your heart when it told you rest a while. By doing that, you gave your *artistic spirit* a great big vitamin! :-)

I love your fluffy slippers! I'm comfy slippers gal from way back. ;-)

Big hugs and lots of smiles,

Crystal xo

I hope you are feeling wonderful, lori! I enjoyed your photos tremendously! I need to be better at resting. But, I am good at chocolate chip cookie eating.

Welcome back :) Cute slippers. You'll be full of ideas after your little rest I imagine. Look forward to seeing what you whip up for us in that studio of yours.

So happy to have you back. You were missed. The only movie I would add to our favorite pile is August Rush. Did you know I was nursed on chocolate? True story, not kidding; my mother was a hand-dipper, and ate it every day of her 90 years. She was adamant about it being a health food. Eat it without guilt. hugs.

Dear Lori,

It is important to make relaxation part of ones reality because it is vital for ones well-being.

The DVD's you have selected are all wonderful, especially Under the Tuscan Sun and Sense and Sensibility, however being a man, I will pass on the pink shoes but you go ahead and enjoy them.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Egmont
