mother nature never ceases to amaze me......while many areas of our country are celebrating the oranges, yellows and browns of fall leaves, my camellias are quietly blooming on the back porch.
and it looks like the bees are enjoying the explosion of pink and yellow, too!!

hunh - look at that!
lucky you! flowers are another love of mine ~ you can never have too many flowers! i grew up in a family greenhouse business, so they are in my blood!
tfs the pretty pink petals picture :-)
oh my! so pretty! that first picture almost looks like the flower is made of paper! so delicate and dainty :) Not many flowers around here these days...just the beautiful changing fall leaves. Mother nature does work in mysterious ways...
Lucky you. They are so beautiful. All I've got now is a lot of brown and a lot of dead.
Aaah, flowers. Your pink & yellow explosion sounds really good right now!
Aren't the camellias this time of year so gorgeous?!? They are starting to bloom here to. I love them!! I think we'll have to get one for our yard... Hugs, Silke
OH how precious, you snapped the little bee in there! What beautiful flowers!
Wow! I agree with Sara, that first photo looks just like a paper flower! We have pretty purple flowers growing on bushes outside of our apartment & I just love that splash of color!
by the way, we trained that bee...
Those are simply beautiful! I envy you, in some ways. I miss the summer blooms here...autumn seemed to pass in just a few weeks. We've had another dumping of snow recently! :)
i am loving the handlettered doodles below! do you do place cards and invitations? your style would be perfect for it. you have me thinking about doing little bitty cookie labels when the holidays come up. it's the only time i enjoy cooking, because it's not cooking, it's baking, and is something entirely different because it means something yummy is coming out of the oven. and something yummy should have a happy doodly sticker on it...
Just gorgeous!
Gorgeously pink! Lovely pictures!

Oh wow, didn't realize how much my eyes were starved for this pop of color. Thanks for the spot of brightness.
Beautiful. I love the camelias in our yard, blooming during times when everything seems dead or dying.
Thanks for sharing!
hugs,
Kate
