tiny dancer

i received a comment the other day from elise over at ballet news......
she was wondering if i would create a little dancer, thumb-style.
what a fabulous idea....and a great challenge!
so here's my tiny dancer, striking a pose that might not be an actual ballet movement,
but in my doodle brain, this is what i imagined!

thank you for inspiring me, elise!!

Oh it's so cool! Ok ok if you're taking challenges then we need a thumb-style motorcycle mama. Hee hee!

We've just bought a few books featuring thumbprints and fingerprints, but yours are the best. How about making your own book. I'll buy three of them.
love all your work.

"Hold me closer, Tony Danzaaaa..." hahaha. Sorry, couldn't resist! On a serious note, she's a sweetie! I love seeing the creative things one can do with such a simple base (such as a fingerprint). :)

I have always loved little thumbprint creatures and people - since my boys were very little. Even today with no small children I find them charming and yours are so cute!!
