i've been in kind of a weird art mood all week.
i want to be creative, but have no idea what i want to create,
so sometimes i don't create at all!
but i figure instead of doing nothing, i may as well do what i love......
pass some time carving a few stamps.
goodbye, weird art mood.
i hope your heart helps you discover playful art this weekend! enjoy!

I seem to be having the same week. I love being creative but when I get in a rut it is crazy. I tried to at least make something that I needed. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Lori, tu blog es mi preferido. Es uno de mis mayores fuentes de inspiración!
Ain't it the truth! I love to just carve... it's very calming and somehow, 'orienting' for me (for lack of a better word!) I've searched internet for this carving product... it seems it's out of stock everywhere. Where do you get yours, Elvie? (And CUTE house! btw)
Lori this is awesome! I love it. I've never even used a stamp, but must start just to use some of yours. ♥
Hi Lori, I have missed you...I have moved to a new blog
www.createdforajourney.blogspot.com and I hope you will come over for a visit.....
Your stamps are so awesome that I think it's OK to make stamps; it's still creating.....but then everything you create is wonderful..You're just a gifted gal....
Hugs and blessings,
Nancy
This is just beautyful , I'm loving it !
Greetings from Austria

Your stamps are precious. The point is...you are making art and I love what you make. Even your drawings that you have underneath your stamps are cool art. Adios weird art funk...
This is is great ! When can we FULLY see your darling creations? I need to learn to carve - that way I could make my own embroidery patterns - I "sorta" do that now - but it's usually just penciling it on to the fabric..and Lord know I can't duplicate one to another! LOL
Just a thought.....do you make custom stamps for people? I might want one of my Mama Bleu.
you make me want to start carving a new stamp. love the heart house and the peek of the piglet looks great too :)
I sooo love your house stamp. I have had a similar couple of days. I want to do art but can't get my butt in there to do some!!! Have a great weekend!
oh i know all about those Weird Art Moods! i think we all have 'em... take heart. oh, wait -- you already have! look at that cute little lovey house!
This little house doesn't look weird to me - and the photo is so pretty. But, i have been to distracted to create myself lately. Let's just hope for an inspirational weekend!
so lovely... I heard a great quote this morning "If you don't feel lost sometimes, that means you're not going anywhere." - Penelope Trunk
I'm trying to remember lost means I'm at least on the PATH, even if I can't tell which direction I am headed in at the moment :)
luv your stamps!!!
hugs,
tara
Amazing little stamp, love how you created that. I've square fever cause I saw your workshop from July 27 and tried it also! Thanks for sharing.
I can relate to your description of how you're feeling. But... I have to tell you that I feel the benefits of your new little house w/heart stamp. It is adorable and it made me smile again. You are so creative.
I love it when you carve new stamps, Lori. You are the one who inspired me to carve last summer. I am hoping to make my own new ones still, in August...soon...!
Oh...I love that! I have been spending my time not being creative but looking at what other creative people are doing. While it is thoroughly enjoyable it is extremely unproductive. But inspiration is a powerful thing and it will kick in soon...I hope...
cheers!
Lori, I have THE ANSWER for what to do when you don't know what to do! I started a daily Bible Verse challenge
http://polly-wollydoodle.blogspot.com/p/schedule.html
... so every single morning I wake up to a new thing to "figure out"...how do I to that???
that's all it took to get back in the mood. now go girl. love the little stamp.
