I'm going to hang around here and just watch the sea for a while. I've missed visiting the coast this summer. England isn't huge but when you're in the middle of the country the sea feels like miles away. Thanks for posting this Lori and hope you enjoy your weekend x
Lori, thanks for that share, I too love to watch the beach birdies, many many years ago, I would visit Cabo San Lucus, there was a restaurant with a covered eating area right on the beach, maybe 15 to 20 tables, a pelican who at one time must have injured his wing and received much attention for it, would glide into the covered area, land, stick that wing out and drag it on the ground as it shashayed around the tables, waiting for a handout, that is my forever favorite, have a great weekend, hugs

Beautiful beach...what beach is this? I, also, was beach walking this summer in York, Maine and came in contact with sandpipers...they were so cute...I watched them for a long time!
Lori, This land-locked girl(who misses the beach) loved hearing the waves crashing on shore. How fun! Now I need to smell the salt air and suntan lotion and I'm good! Thanks for a fun beach trip. Stay safe and dry this weekend. Hugs, Jeanette
