for the past month, i've been cleaning, organizing, and trying to keep the house "show ready" while we wait for that special buyer to walk through the door. our house hasn't sold yet (fingers crossed that it will soon!) and to be honest, while i've been keeping the cobwebs at bay in the house, i think they've set up camp in my head!
so my sweet little dutch boy has brought me up to the mountains for some rest and relaxation!
there's nothing like a complete change of scenery to clear the cobwebs out of your head, and give you a new boost of inspiration! i hope you find yourself in one of your favorite inspiration places this weekend!! enjoy!
What a guy. I'm glad you got to get away with your sweet Dutch boy. Gorgeous views and I do hope those are song birds. Don't forget to Breathe.
Beautiful photos...good luck with the sale of your house!
It's difficult to be in limbo. The mountains look beautiful indeed.
if you ain't dutch
you ain't much
Lori, What beautiful scenery! Sure to help you relax and rejuvenated amidst all the house stuff. Hope all goes fabulously and it is sold soon.
Hugs and chocolately love,
soak up that mountain air...it has a fragrance all it's own doesn't it...
you really are a lucky girl :) i get to spend the weekend in the most uninspiring place...work. blah! i'm trying really hard to change the way i think about it so that i can find inspiration but my memory is so bad i always forget, hee hee. thanks for sharing & i'm sure someone will fall in love with your home and you will be posting a farewell to it soon :)
How good to be a pair of sweet wonderful people who share the joys and get-a-ways of life. Refresh and Enjoy Dear...
Beautiful pictures Lori. Enjoy your stay up there with your sweetie. I will keep good thoughts about the house and maybe that right person will come along while you are gone. Keep sending pics so we can all live vicariously as a mountain girl through you!
Gosh, it looks so darn pretty up there! Lori, have a really great weekend with your Dutch sweetie. I'm sure some fresh mountain air will blow those cobwebs away! xoxo
What a beautiful place. I wish I could live in the mountains someday. :)
Enjoy your breakaway Lori, you deserve it!
I didn't realize you were moving! Oh, yes, keeping the house clean for showings is such a pain! good for you for getting away from it for a while!
