this is my first book project of the new year. it's a combination of several of my "goals" for 2009: 1) practice and become more comfortable with the coptic binding. 2) simplify. 3) reduce the massive mountain of scrapbook paper that's slowly creeping into every room of the house. 4) just create, try not to overthink it. and the goal on this list that i'm working the hardest on? that would be #3! :) click on image for better view
Beautiful book, I love that green.
I wish you good luck on your resolution for this year.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!
Lori, I love it!! I need to simplify too...especially the paper! ooooh the scrapbook paper is just everywhere. I wish I could organize it so that I could utilize it better!!!
Happy New Year to wonderful you!!
The binding job you did is gorgeous! I have a friend who does bookbinding - she's explained to me what goes into the stitching, and I'm impressed. You did a lovely job.
such a wonderful color of green and i love the coptic binding! sounds like a nice set of resolutions, especially the simplify part.
Great goals, and what a fabulous book!! (other than the coptic stitch binding, I share the other 3 goals with you!!) Happy New Year, Lori! I'm so happy to have found your blog and for all the beautiful inspiration you give me! :)
I like this book a lot. The raised letters are great.
Lori, I love this book you've made, and the title. I love how the word Life is jumping off the cover. Great list, I should work on #3, but it's not just paper, it's magazines also. I save every ClothPaperScissors magazine and everySomerset Studios magazine I get. I have several of the Artful Blogging and Studios magazines also. I just love reading them over and over again.
What a great little book and the binding job you've done is amazing!
I'm a big book freak-big ones small ones, blank ones...I love them all!
